A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home, from the roof to the foundation. The standard home inspector’s report will include an evaluation of the condition of the home’s heating system, central air conditioning system, interior plumbing and electrical systems, the roof, attic, and visible structure. If problems are found, the inspector will refer you to the appropriate specialist or trades person for further evaluation.
The purchase of a home is probably the largest single investment you will ever make. You should learn as much as you can about the condition of the property and the need for any major repairs before you buy, so that you can minimize unpleasant surprises and difficulties afterwards.
If you have owned your home for a long time, a home inspection can identify problems in the making and recommend preventive measures which might avoid costly future repairs. Meet The Owner Of 818 Inspections LLC
Mark Gresham is the owner operator of 818 Inspections. Mark started his career as a home inspector with a large home inspection company years ago that completed thousands of home inspections each year. When Mark started his career, he went to an extensive in-person training at the American Home Inspector Training School, and AHIT School. Mark attended these schools to get hands on training because during his Real Estate career he had witnessed too many "Online Trained" home inspectors that did not have a good grasp on what it took to complete a thorough inspection of a home, and in turn they missed a lot of critical information during their inspections. After Mark graduated from both schools, Mark continued his training with a mentor in the home inspection field where he worked side by side with his mentor for more than 6 months, doing 4 inspections a day, 6 days a week, and learning the ins and outs of home inspections. After all of that training, Mark finally started doing home inspections with the vast knowledge one can only learn from the hands on rigorous training methods Mark completed. To this day, with years of doing home inspections, Mark continues his training daily as a Certified Inspector with the American Society Of Home Inspectors (ASHI) to ensure he is the best trained home inspector in the industry.
After some years, Mark saw a need for a customer service focused approach to home inspections, where customers are treated like family! So Mark left the large home inspection company and started 818 Inspections . Mark's philosophy is to provide a very thorough, detailed report on the current condition of a home, while going above on beyond the cookie cutter approach that large companies offer, to provide a personal relationship between Mark and his customers. Mark feels that the only way to truly provide outstanding customer service is to treat each and every customer like family, and Mark would never let his family buy a house that they not fully informed on its conditions. So you can be sure that Mark will treat each and every person like they are family.
